Message from the Resident Manager – October 2022
It’s been a great month here in the Maldives, and we’ve been sharing our sunny days with lots of happy guests, including many who told us they can’t wait to return – it’s a great feeling when the departure farewell includes ‘We’ll be back, see you again soon!’
As well as helping our guests have an incredible time, the growing team here at Innahura has been working hard behind the scenes. We’ve been continuing with our preparations for the festive season, where we hope to be able to celebrate with those of you who are currently counting down the days until ‘Innahura Arrival Day’. To further our sustainability efforts, our gardening team have replanted the garden with all kinds of organic goodies destined for the restaurant once harvested. We have also installed an eco-friendly composting machine and will soon be providing beach ashtrays in the form of recycled coconut shells.
The recent plankton bloom in Lhaviyani makes the conditions very favourable for mantas. It is excellent news for the start of manta season when they migrate to our atoll to visit the cleaning stations and feast on the plentiful food supply drifting in the ocean. Snorkellers and divers are in for a treat when encountering these graceful giants, so if you’ve not snorkelled or dived before, make Innahura the place where that changes – you’ll take home the most amazing memories and perhaps achieve a bucket list tick.
If you haven’t booked your trip yet, don’t leave it too late, bookings are coming in fast for the next few months. Also, don’t forget to check our offers of 20% off for various dates through the next few months, including for Summer 2023 – if you’re very, very good (and drop enough hints), Santa may even pop the tickets in your Christmas stocking!
I hope to welcome you to Innahura very soon.
Sunny wishes,
Eddy
