Message from the Resident Manager – July 2021
Dear Guests,
Greetings from Innahura! July has been a great month here at the resort, not only have we enjoyed the typical hot sunny days you would expect in the Maldives, but we’ve been able to share them with an increasing number of our guests too. As travel restrictions continue to ease across much of the world, we are seeing more and more of you booking your stays with us and we can’t wait to share our wonderful island with you.
There have been some marine surprises in store for our recent guests – we’ve had some whale shark sightings! Whale sharks are the biggest fish in the sea and a tremendous sight – reaching up to 12 metres in length they glide effortlessly through the water; such a special experience and we are so happy that our lucky guests got to put a tick on their bucket lists. Sharks have been the stars of the show in July with Shark Week activities bringing lots of adventures for both snorkelers and divers – check our Facebook and Instagram pages for highlights. Don’t worry if you missed it though, every week’s a shark week in the Maldives!
Aside from all the underwater happenings, our food and beverage team have been busy creating new menus and cocktails, which we will be able to share with you soon. Some of our team members have been taking well-deserved breaks and will return, fully refreshed and ready to help make your holidays here amazing. Our team here is multi-national, encompassing members from 9 countries, speaking 16 languages so, no matter where you’re from, it’s likely you’ll feel at home at Innahura!
It has been great to spend gloriously sunny days with those of you who have been able to travel and I sincerely hope that many more of you get the freedom to visit us soon.
Sunny wishes,
Eddy
