Message from the Resident Manager – December 2022
Dear Guests,
Greetings from Innahura Maldives!
Since I wrote to you last, we have moved into the start of high season, the sun is in plentiful supply, and the temperatures are, as always, balmy. Our guests have enjoyed all that our carefree resort offers, including spectacular dives and snorkel excursions with the iconic manta rays. Conditions underwater are excellent for the mantas and beginner divers, who can gain confidence in our safe sandy lagoon before venturing out on the boats to see the reefs and an abundance of marine life.
The team here has been busy with an island ‘beautification project’, not that Innahura needs any additional beauty! We’ve been re-arranging walkaways, planting new species of flora, and, in line with our sustainability efforts, the gardening team has replanted the garden with all kinds of organic goodies destined for your plates when harvested. Also on the theme of sustainability is Innahura’s quest to become a Travelife Certified Resort, as we have recently completed all the requirements, we are hopeful of being certified in the near future. In other resort news, there has been a furniture upgrade, and we’ve installed a #innahura sign above the sea swing, ready for you to capture the perfect souvenir photos.
With the festive season almost upon us, excitement is building at the resort in anticipation of the celebrations. Of course, a Christmas holiday in the tropics is a little different to being at home – wrapped with fabulous weather, a generous helping of tradition (with a tropical twist) and the bonus of having all the organising completed by someone else! Here at Innahura we provide all the opportunities for festive merriment without any chaos you’d be surrounded by at home. So those of you counting down the days until you join us for the festive season have every reason to be more than a little excited – there are treats galore waiting for you, and we can’t wait to share this magical time of year with you.
If you can’t join us for the celebrations this year, don’t worry – anytime you visit Innahura is a cause for celebration, and we will help you make it a holiday to remember. Wherever you will be spending the festive season, I wish you a wonderful time spent with family and friends.
