Dear Guests,
Sunny greetings from Innahura! It’s been another great month here in the Maldives with plenty of sunshine, blue skies and a few tropical showers too. We know that lots of you at home have been experiencing a taste of the tropics with heatwaves, where temperatures rivalled those here at Innahura – it’s not quite so easy to enjoy without being able to wander into the lagoon for a cooling dip every so often though is it? If the end of summer at home seems to be approaching too quickly for your liking, come and stay with us and bask in our eternal summer where life is easy – our special offers make it even easier!
In our continual quest to make positive choices for the environment, we’ve been giving our organic garden some extra care and attention, this, coupled with the much-needed rainfall, has seen a bumper crop of produce. Our new composting machine is set to further enhance the productivity of our very own in-house veggie garden allowing our culinary team to provide the freshest ingredients possible for our menus.
Those of you who like to sample the local food whilst on holiday, will be pleased to know that during this month our culinary team are installing a special corner of the buffet restaurant dedicated to Maldivian specialties – they are absolutely delicious so come and give them a try at dinner and let us know your favourites.
Festive season and manta season are both fast approaching and although I can’t tell you for sure what the mantas have in store for you, I can share that our festive plans include a visit from Santa, plenty of beach fun, delicious food, and great entertainment. If you feel like a change from the usual routine this year, now is a good time to block Christmas and New Year out on your calendar and get ready for a holiday to remember.
I look forward to greeting you at Innahura soon, next season or even next year!
Sunny wishes,
Eddy
